Parjatan offers 30pc discount

Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) has announced a 30 per cent discount on its accommodation facilities and varieties of menus including local cuisine.

The offer is made marking its one-week service programme for domestic and international tourists with the slogan 'Be a proud guest of Parjatan and Contribute to Bangladesh.'

The service week will continue from April 30 through May 06. It is aimed at attracting the people to travel more and also attracting foreign tourists to Bangladesh.

Extra items will be included in the snacks service currently on offer on the Sonar-Bangla train running on the Dhaka-Chattogram-Dhaka route.

Apart from these, beach cleaning activities will be carried out at Cox's Bazar and Kuakata beaches.
