CHITTAGONG, Mar 18: The government has appointed Professor Dr Md Selim Uddin, FCA, FCMA as Chairman of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC).
Prof Dr Selim Uddin took over the charges at the HBFC Head Office at Purana Paltan in Dhaka on Sunday, says a statement.
Before joining the new post, noted educationist Selim Uddin was serving a director of the state-owned Rupali Bank.
Earlier, he was director of the Rupali Investment Ltd, Premier Bank Ltd and Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd.
He was teaching for a long time at the Department of Accounting of Chittagong University (CU).
He completed CMA from ICMAB, CA from ICAB, PFA from the UK and PhD from Chittagong University.
