Visitors are seen at the REHAB Fair which concluded on Friday in the city. Properties such as apartments, plots, and commercial spaces worth over Tk 4.0 billion were sold or booked at this year's five-day REHAB Fair, which concluded on Friday.
Out of the total figure, flats were sold and booked for Tk 2.3 billion, plots worth Tk 0.96 billion, and commercial spaces worth Tk 770 million.
Bank commitments worth about Tk 10.90 billion were made at the fair.
According to a statement, 17,729 buyers and visitors attended the fair this year until 5:00 pm on Friday. The
Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB)
organised the fair at the BICC premises in the capital's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area.
For the first time this year, a booth was set up by the Real Estate Research Standing Committee to collect real estate data at the REHAB Fair for research.
About a thousand buyers who participated in the fair expressed their opinions on the housing sector by filling out research forms.
Chairman of the Real Estate Research Standing Committee, Dr. Md. Harun Or Rashid, said that it would be easy to determine the future progress of the real estate sector based on the opinions given by the buyers and visitors who attended the fair.
