Shahjalal Islami Bank distributes cheques among Marginal Farmers

In accordance with the instructions of the government and the Agricultural & Rural Credit Policy of Bangladesh Bank, Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has provided agricultural investment facilities of Tk 24.1 million to the ethnic and the marginal farmers in Tangail district for cultivation of pulses, oilseeds, spices and maize for the fiscal year 2024-2025. The investment cheques were distributed to 48 ethnic and marginal farmers at a programme organised in Tangail on Thursday. Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over in the event while Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Md. Ali Mahmud was present as the chief guest and handed over the cheques to the farmers.
