SHAHJALAL ISLAMI BANK PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIP TO 350 STUDENTS

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has awarded scholarship to 350 poor and meritorious students who passed SSC exams across the country. Some 40 students received the scholarship cheques at a ceremony held at the Corporate Head Office of the bank on Wednesday. The scholarship money of the remaining 310 students will be paid into their respective bank accounts soon. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank A K Azad was present as the chief guest while Director of the bank & Chairman of the Bank Foundation Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan was present as a special guest at the ceremony. Managing Director of the bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over the event.
