Shakir Amin promoted to AMD of NRB Bank

NRB Bank PLC has promoted Md Shakir Amin Chowdhury to Additional Managing Director (AMD).

Prior to his new assignment, he has been serving as the Deputy Managing Director, says a statement.

Managing Director Tarek Reaz Khan, on behalf of the Board of Directors and Senior Management, handed over the promotion letter to Mr Amin in recognition of his performance and contributions.

Mr Amin, who has 38 years of banking experience, graduated from Bangladesh Agricultural University with a degree in agricultural economics. He started off his banking career as a trainee officer at Arab Bangladesh Bank PLC.

Before joining NRB Bank, he was the Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank.
