Shimanto Bank holds tree plantation programmes

To combat negative impacts of climate change, Shimanto Bank has arranged tree plantation programmes in 7 schools in Shyamnagar, Satkhira, and 2 schools in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar recently. Saplings of fruit, timber and medicinal trees were planted during the event. Mohammad Hosen, Branch Manager of Teknaf Branch, and Md. Anwarul Islam, Branch Manager of Shyamnagar Sub-Branch, have coordinated the tree plantation programmes in their respective areas.
