Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shimanto Bank Ltd. Muklesur Rahman and Director (Finance) of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (REB) Md. Hossain Patwary exchanging documents after signing an agreement on electric bill payment in the capital recently The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board and Shimanto Bank Limited, a new generation commercial bank, have signed an agreement in the capital recently on electric bills payment, says a statement.
As per the agreement, the clients of Palli Bidyut under Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (REB) can pay their electric bills through the branches of Shimanto Bank.
The statement said the rural branches of the bank will ensure the services.
Shimanto Bank's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Muklesur Rahman and Director (Finance) of REB Md. Hossain Patwary signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Senior officials from both the organisations were also present at the signing ceremony.
