The sixth council election of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh was held at the ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on Saturday. The sixth council election of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) was held under the provision of the Chartered Secretaries Act, 2010 at the ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on Saturday.
A total of 519 members exercised their voting rights in a festive mood. A total of 30 members contested the election while 13 were elected as council members of ICSB for the 2025-2028 term. The council members are Mohammad Shahajahan FCS, Hossain Sadat FCS, Md. Sharif Hasan FCS, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan FCS, Md. Mizanur Rahman FCS, Khondakar Nasir Uddin Mahmud FCS, Md. Humayun Kabir FCS, Md. Rafiqul Islam FCS, Mohammed Harun-Ar-Rashid FCS, M Nurul Alam FCS, Md. Robiul Islam FCS, and M Mazedul Islam FCS.
Meanwhile, the Premier Bank PLC has congratulated M Nurul Alam on being elected as the council member of the ICSB. Mr. Alam also serves as an Independent Director of the Premier Bank and Chairman of Premier Bank Securities Limited.
