Southeast University Job Fair kicks off

A two-day 'Southeast University Job Fair 2026' begins at the university's multipurpose hall on Wednesday.
In a major initiative to bridge the gap between academic excellence and the dynamic corporate world, Southeast University (SEU) inaugurated the 'Southeast University Job Fair 2026' at its multipurpose hall on Wednesday.
The two-day career event serves as a vital networking hub for students, alumni and top-tier employers, says a press statement.
Sayed Bin Abdullah, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (Youth Employment), was present at the opening ceremony as the chief guest and Md. Shamsuzzaman Nasim, Managing Director of Micro Fibre Group, as the special guest.
Advocate Niaz Ahmed, Member of the Southeast University Board of Trustees, delivered a special address while Professor Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Southeast University, presided over the inaugural session.
Professor Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Major General (Retd.) Anwarul Islam, Registrar; and Professor Dr. Md. Serajul Islam, Convener of the event and Dean of the School of Business Administration, spoke at the event.
The job fair has attracted 55 multinational and prominent local organisations spanning a diverse array of sectors. Participating industries include banking and financial services, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, IT, healthcare, hospitality, electronics, and real estate.
