Taiwan tax revenue drops

TAIPEI, Oct 12 (Xinhua): Taiwan's total net tax revenue was 233.3 billion new Taiwan dollars (7.57 billion US dollars) in September, down 4.3 per cent from the same period last year, according to the island's financial authority.

The profit-seeking enterprise income tax and individual income tax contributed most to the loss, which decreased 9.9 billion new Taiwan dollars and 3 billion new Taiwan dollars respectively, the data showed.
