Tipu Munshi off to India to attend two events

The two-day India-Bangladesh Stakeholders' Meet is set to begin in Guwahati of India's Assam State today ( Tuesday), reports UNB.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi will attend the meet, said an official on Monday. The official said Tipu Munshi left Dhaka for India on Monday morning.
The commerce minister will also attend another event in India styled 'Shillong Dialogue-2019' to be held in the capital of Indian Meghalaya State on October 24-25.
The stakeholders' meeting will primarily focus on creating a level-playing field for the stakeholders of both the countries, officials said.
The Bangladesh commerce minister will attend the two events at the invitation of Asian Confluence and India East Asia Centre, according to the Ministry of Commerce in Dhaka.
Tipu Munshi is expected to return home on October 25.
