Tipu urges ADB for more cooperation

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has urged the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to increase cooperation in implementing the development works in Bangladesh.
The minister made the call while ADB Country Director in Bangladesh Manmohan Parkash met him at his Secretariat office in the city on Tuesday, reports BSS.
Mentioning that Bangladesh is now able to implement mega projects successfully, he said development work is being finished on time and the country has become a role model of development globally.
Expressing his hope that ADB's cooperation will increase further in future, Tipu Munshi said Bangladesh will graduate from LDC and turn into a developed country.
Commerce Secretary M Mofizul Islam, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce M Shafikul Islam and WTO Director General Munir Chowdhury were present.
