Training on 'Warehouse Management'

Participants in a course on 'Warehouse Management' conducted by Interport Corporate Academy recently

Interport Corporate Academy (ICA), a sister concern of Interport Group, organised two training courses on 'Warehouse Management' in Dhaka and Chattogram recently, says a press statement.

The two-day courses were held on the ICA premises at Banglamotor in the capital and at Agrabad in the port city.

The course focused on ways to implement efficient and effective 'Management Systems' and harness new technology as appropriate that can help warehouse operations contribute to the organisations' overall increased profitability round the year.

The academy conducted this course to deliver knowledge and understanding as well, of the key elements of warehouse management practices required to develop the competency and efficiency of the personnel concerned, along with inventory and logistics responsibilities in the organisations concerned.

The course is endorsed by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Bangladesh Council.

Aswath Nagendra, a globally noted professional, was the instructor of the course.

Representatives from Karnaphuli Group, DCL, IUB, New Zealand Dairy Products Ltd., Bayer Cropscience Ltd., KDS Logistics Ltd., Gulf Orient Seaways Ltd., Consort Flexipack Ltd., Padma Oil Company Ltd., Yusen Logistics, Rapido Deliveries, BASF Bangladesh Ltd., Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Coast Guard, Khulna Shipyard, Dhaka WASA and Chittagong Port Authority took part in the courses.
