TVS Auto Bangladesh launches TVS Apache RTR 160 motorbike

TVS Motor Company, a manufacturer of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, has launched the TVS Apache RTR 160 (160cc) in Bangladesh, says a statement.

J Ekram Hussain, Managing Director of TVS Auto Bangladesh Limited, formally launched the TVS Apache RTR 160 at a ceremony at BICC in the capital on Wednesday.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Biplob Kumar Roy, Head of Business Mrigen Banergee, AGM (Marketing) Ashraful Hasan, National Sales Manager Atiqur Rahman and other officials of TVS Auto Bangladesh Limited were present at the programme, among others.

TVS Apache RTR 160 has been built to redefine and set a benchmark in the performance segment, both in terms of leading edge technology and design, said the statement.

It is an integration of superior R&D efforts and application of lessons learnt on the racing tracks. The motorcycle sports a 159.7cc single-cylinder motor generating 15.2hp power and 13.1Nm of torque.

The motorcycle is priced at Tk 177,900 each and will be distributed through TVS Auto Bangladesh. TVS Apache RTR 160 comes in three impressive colours - matte black, matte blue and matte red.
