UCB's entrepreneur development training programme held in Manikganj

A month-long entrepreneur development training programme was recently held in Manikganj under the "Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP)," implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance with funding from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The training programme was organised by Bangladesh Bank with the support of United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB). Nawshad Mustafa, Director (SMESPD), Bangladesh Bank, attended the event as the chief guest, while Adnan Masud, Additional Managing Director of UCB, and Md. Ayub Ali, Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank and Deputy Program Director, were present as special guests. Senior officials from UCB were also present. A total of 25 promising new entrepreneurs participated in the training programme.
