VisionSpring to provide eye care services to BRTC employees

Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VisionSpring Bangladesh for providing eye care services to its drivers and employees. BRTC Chairman Abdul Latif Molla and Country Director of VisionSpring Misha Mahzabeen signed the agreement at the conference room of Paribahan Bhaban in Dhaka on Wednesday. Under the agreement, VisionSpring will provide eye screening services to nearly 4,000 BRTC drivers, officers and staff. The service recipients will pay a registration fee of Tk 50 BDT per person for the eye examination. This service will begin on February 1, 2026, and will continue until April 30, 2027. BRTC Director (Finance and Accounts) Dr Anupam Saha, Director (Administration and Operations) Md Rahenul Islam, and Director (Technical and Training) Colonel Kazi Ayub Ali, and officials from VisionSpring were present at the signing ceremony.
