Elmas Arisoy Elmas Arisoy, Practice Manager for Solutions and Innovations in Procurement in the World Bank's Governance Global Practice, will visit the Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) of the Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Division, Ministry of Planning, today (Tuesday), says a press statement.
During her visit, she will take stock of reforms carried out in the domain of public procurement of Bangladesh.
Arisoy will hold a meeting with CPTU at 2:30pm today (Tuesday). Director General of CPTU and Additional Secretary Md Faruque Hossain will chair the meeting while Lead Procurement Specialist of the World Bank, Bangladesh, Dr Zafrul Islam will also be present.
She is also expected to meet Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal and Secretary of IME Division Md Mofizul Islam.
