Work together to ensure better telecom services:Taiyeb

COX'S BAZAR, Dec 29 (BSS): Chief Adviser's Special Assistant for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb on Monday urged relevant organisations to work together for ensuring uninterrupted and better telecommunications services.
He made the call while inspecting the activities of the Third Submarine Cable Laying (2nd revised) Project and the associated landing station of Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC (BSCCL) to expand Bangladesh's international telecommunications system.
During the visit, he was informed about the project's progress, technical capabilities, operational management and future plans. He visited various important facilities of the landing station and exchanged views with officials and employees.Faiz Ahmed said, "The importance of the submarine cable project in strengthening the country's digital infrastructure is immense.
"Through the implementation of the SMW-6 project, the country's internet bandwidth capacity will increase along with increasing international telecommunication facilities, which will indirectly help in the socio-economic development of the country and the creation of a prosperous Bangladesh," he added.
