Yarn, Fabrics and Accessories Show begins in city tomorrow

The 10th Yarn, Fabrics and Accessories Show, a focused sourcing event, is set to begin at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital tomorrow (Wednesday), reports BSS.

Organised by ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, the four-day event will feature over 150 international suppliers showcasing a diverse range of yarns, fabrics, accessories, cutting-edge innovations, chemicals, and screen printing machinery -- all under one roof, said a press release.

The show is targeted at buying offices, buying agents, RMG exporters, knit composite units, label manufacturers, importers, and merchandisers. It provides an opportunity for your members to source new collections and identify new suppliers at the event.

This event will be the sourcing gateway of yarn & fabric, accessories to discover latest innovations and new international suppliers.

"A tradeshow focused on yarn & fabrics, accessories showcased by overseas suppliers plays an important role in the sourcing latest collection of yarn, fabric, accessories for the upcoming season," said Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, Managing Director, ASK Trade & Exhibitions.

Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA), Merchandising Brotherhood Association Bangladesh (MBABD), Bangladesh Merchandisers & Suppliers Association (BMSA) have extended their support to the trade show.

Bangladesh's ready-made garment exports to new markets witnessed a robust growth of 10 per cent, reaching a total of $7.70 billion in July-April of FY24, compared to $7 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

After more than a month of disruption due to the political changeover and subsequent labour unrest in major industrial belts, international apparel retailers and brands are returning to Bangladesh with work orders for upcoming seasons.
