YUASA Battery holds first sales conference in Dhaka

‘The company to introduce cutting edge battery manufacturing tech will ensure battery life of more than three years’

YUASA is not only a top battery manufacturer in the world but also a leading research and development (R&D) technology company that is working persistently with the leading car manufacturers to introduce fuel efficient and environment friendly vehicles, says the chairman of TSI Group and YUASA Battery business, Bangladesh.

Syed Mahmudul Huq made the remark at the YUASA Battery Sales Partners Meet-2018 at a hotel in the capital on Saturday.

Addressing the programme, he said automobile industry is constantly evolving and hence "we are compelled to introduce newer, modern batteries, replacing older, conventional ones".

He said the next era is IS (Idle Start Stop) and hybrid battery. "We need to be prepared for this transformation to sustain in the long run. YUASA is the first battery company to produce Idle Start Stop and hybrid batteries,"

Director of YUASA Battery, Bangladesh, Syed Samiul Huq attended the programme and also spoke.

Explaining the benefits of maintenance-free YUASA battery, Syed Samiul Huq said YUASA Bangladesh team along with its Japanese colleagues is working with the objective to becoming the best battery manufacturer by 2021 in Bangladesh.

"We will introduce cutting edge battery manufacturing technology where the users can enjoy the battery life of more than three years," he added.

All the sales partners from across the country participated in the YUASA Battery Sales Partners Meet.

The event provided an opportunity for the sales partners to interact formally and exchange their views, experience and suggestions with the company to improvise on product and after-sales services.

It also helped the sales partners to understand the company's objective, strategy and target for the coming business years. The programme rounded off with a cultural events, according to a statement.
