Development works of Tk 960m progressing on RU campus

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, July 16: The infrastructural development works of different academic building, residential halls, and teachers-officials quarters of the Rajshahi University (RU) is going on.

The reconstruction and extension works of ten buildings to be completed under a mega development project of the university which estimated cost at Tk 960 million. The work of first phase for five buildings has started early of the year that to be visible in middle of the next year. Besides, the construction work for remaining five new buildings will also start end of the next year too, sources said.

According to the information of RU Planning & Development Department, the extension works for 4th floor of fourth science building, 4th floor of agriculture faculty building, 3rd floor of fine arts faculty building, remaining works of 3rd floor of Bangamata Fazilatunnesa hall, and reconstruction work of Ismail Hossen Siraji building from ground floor to 4th floor have already been started early of the year.
