RAB nab drug dealer with 26,100 Yaba pills in Ctg

CHATTTOGRAM, Aug 17 (BSS): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a drug trader and recovered 26100 pieces of Yaba tablet after searching a salt-laden truck in Shah Amanat Bridge area under Bakalia Police Station early Saturday.

The arrestee was identified as truck driver Mohammad Moshiur Rahman Liton, 35, hailing from Patuakhali district.

Masfukur Rahman, assistant director of RAB-7 said based on information, a team of the elite force conducted a drive at the Rajbari Convention Centre of Bakulia at around 05.45 am.

It seized 26,100 pieces of the contraband pill concealed inside a Dhaka-bound salt-laden truck from Cox's Bazar.

RAB also seized the truck.

Masfukur Rahman told journalists that legal action would be taken against the detainee.
