Drives against teenage criminal gangs

It is good that officials of law enforcing agencies are finally taking steps to apprehend members of teenage criminal gangs in Uttara area of Dhaka city. I hope that gradually this drive will spread across the entire Dhaka city and later to towns across the country.

According to media reports, there are 30 to 40 teenage criminal gangs active in Dhaka city. Often political leaders use them to control their areas.

We as parents need to stay alert about the activities of our children, their friends and companions and what they do during their leisure time. The common people can report directly to the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) website about any criminal activities going on in their areas.
