Illegal sale of wild birds

There is a law in Bangladesh that prohibits the catching and sale of wild birds. Still, these birds are openly sold on the streets of Dhaka.

It's true that the law enforcers sometimes try to catch the offenders. But usually the crime continues unnoticed. Recently, while going to my office, I saw a hawker selling exotic birds inside a small cage. I felt very sad to see the birds in such a helpless situation.

Due to indiscriminate wildlife hunting of such manner, the ecological balance is being disturbed. As conscious citizens, we should come forward to protect the environment and ecological balance.
