Internet and its effects on children

TODAY internet has become one of our best friends. Even children love the internet as it allows them to enjoy cartoons from around the world and play a wide range of video games. But unfortunately they are found spending unusually long time on it which is detrimental to their health and studies. We cannot stop them from using the internet but we must remain alert that they do not use it excessively. We must exercise some kind of control so that the virtual world of the internet does not create a problem in our real world. The Internet has become an integral part of life and we can not think of moving a step ahead without it. But it must be used judiciously to produce best results for us. We have to keep our near and dear ones safe from cyber crimes and educate them about its pros and cons. Let us create awareness and put emphasis on safe internet surfing.
