The rewarding habit of reading newspapers

Newspapers can help a reader understand the world better. It updates the reader about everything happening around him or her in his or her own country as well as internationally.

Children need to be encouraged to read newspapers. Before this can happen, the habit of reading should be encouraged in them by parents and family members.

Now-a-days, young people hardly read the dailies. Rather they would engage themselves by watching television, browsing the internet or playing games. This is not good for their individual growth in the long run.

Newspapers have been playing an important role at creating conscious citizens. It also helps in the formation of public opinion among readers. In-depth articles, investigative reports, analysis, editorials and other kind of content in dailies can also press political parties as well as the government to take the right steps.

Maybe the format of newspapers will change in the future. But I do not think it will ever go away.
