AIUB alumni meet Friday

The first get together of alumni of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), "ExAIUBian Meetup", is going to take place at Amulia Model Town, Demra, Dhaka tomorrow (March 29). More than 4,000 alumni will join the event, says a press release.

The organisers believe it is important that the alumni stay in touch with university and with each other. A day full of cultural and other activities is an opportunity for them to be connected.

AIUB aims to provide a professional and social network by setting up a formal alumni network. By organising informative social events the network will provide the opportunity to connect with other young alumni who are in different career stages. This also helps in developing market insights, knowledge sharing and building professional relationships.

The programme will start early in the morning with an opening ceremony. Along with other mass transportation available for attendees, there will be horse-drawn vehicle to reach at the venue.

Former students will take part in cultural activities, stand-up comedy, introduction to iconic alumni members, discussion on future plans of ExAIUBians etc. To make the day engaging, organisers will also arrange different games, DJ performance, colour fest, and concert of popular bands such as Artcell and Fireworks.
