ATM booth security guard found dead in city

Police recovered the body of a security guard from a Jamuna Bank ATM booth in the city's Baridhara area. The deceased has been identified as Shamim. Police were not able to provide any additional details about the victim. Shamim was found dead in a Jamuna Bank ATM booth at J Block in Baridhara early on Monday. Police have not confirmed whether the booth was robbed.

Four die as bus rams into auto in Noakhali

Four people died and two others were injured after an accident involving a bus and an autorickshaw in Noakhali's Begumganj Upazila. The accident took place in the Mirwarishpur area around 2:30 pm on Monday. Police said all of the dead, two men and two women, were autorickshaw passengers, but could not confirm any further details of their identities. One of the injured has been admitted to Noakhali General Hospital for treatment, while the other has been transferred to Dhaka.
