Three more BNP aspirants out of poll race

The High Court stayed on Wednesday the candidature of three more BNP candidates as they did not resign from the upazila chairman posts ahead of the 11th national election. The candidates are Manjur Elahi of Narsingdi-3, Abdul Aziz of Natore-4 and Faruk Kabir Ahmed of Gaibandha-4. Now, the candidates will not be able to contest election. — UNB

Remain aware of fake army officers: ISPR

The Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) Directorate urged on Wednesday all to remain aware about fraudsters who identifying themselves as army officers are demanding money from election candidates offering to provide them with various facilities. — UNB
