Oikyafront manifesto on Dec 17

The Jatiya OikyaFront, the major opposition alliance, will unveil their manifesto on December 17.

It will be unveiled at a programme in a city hotel, according to a press release issued on Thursday, signed by its Chief Coordinator Mostafa Mohsin Montu.

The programme will be held at 11:00am.

However, OikyaFront leaders campaigned in Sylhet on Thursday urging the people to be on guard at the polling centres.

They also called for voting for the Sheaf of Paddy to hasten the freedom of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.

They were campaigning for Khandker Golam Muktadir contesting election from Sylhet-1 constituency.

JSD President ASM Abdur Rab, Ganosathya Kendra founder Dr Jafarullah Chowdhury, Sylhet City Corporation mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury and others joined the campaign.

Jafarullah said, "The victory of the Sheaf of Paddy is confirmed. The Sheaf of Paddy will win in every seat. I'm a neutral person, my eye and eras are open. On January 2 Khaleda Zia will appear before you."
