BRAC Univ holds pedagogy training

BRAC University (BRACU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Syed Saad Andaleeb said the teachers should be more empathetic towards students and focus on active learning in line with BRACU coming in the top 400 of QS Asia University Rankings 2018, according to a press release.

The VC made the comments while speaking at a two-day training on pedagogy jointly organised by BRACU's Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Professional Development Centre (PDC) on its Mohakhali campus in the city recently.

Dr Manzoor Ahmed, professor emeritus, BRACU, Dr Ahsan, director, PDC, Dr Ansar Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor, BRACU, Dr Mohamed Foysol Chowdhury, director, R&D, Prof Dr Siddiqur Rahman, former director, Institute of Education and Research (IER), the University of Dhaka, Prof Nazmul Haq of IER, Lady Syeda Sarwat Abed, director of BRAC Institute of Languages, and Prof Md Tafazzal Hussain, director of IQAC, attended the programme.
