DU appoints chief returning officer for DUCSU polls

The Dhaka University authority appointed on Thursday Professor Dr. S.M. Mahfuzur Rahman of International Business department as chief returning officer along with a 15-member advisory committee to conduct the long- awaited Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) election and Hall Union elections

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman has appointed professor Mahfuz under the section 8(e) of the existing DUCSU constitution.

Noor-un-Nabi, Geography and Environment Science department professor A.Q.M .Mahbub, Marketing department professor Belayet Hossain, Chemistry dept. professor Tofail Ahmed Chowdhury, Director of Business Administration Institution Professor Syed Farhad Anwar, Chairman of Bangla department professor Bismadeb Chowdhury, Professor of Social Welfare and Research Institute A.S.M. Atiqur Rahman, Numeric professor of Mathematics Department Professor Sajeda Banu and Nutrition and Food Science Institute professor Sharmin Rumi Alim.
