Four workers killed as truck ploughs into Chattogram house

CHATTOGRAM, Apr 25 (UNB): Four brick kiln workers were killed and two others injured when a wood-laden truck ploughed into a house at Islampur in Rangunia upazila early Thursday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Imiaz Ahmed Bhuiya, officer-in-charge of Rangunia Police Station, said the accident took place around 4 am when the truck ploughed into a makeshift house made for brick kiln workers after its driver lost control over the steering, leaving four workers dead on the spot.
