Int'l model UN confce at DIU tomorrow

A three-day International Model United Nations Conference 2019 will begin at Daffodil International University (DIU) in the city on Thursday.

Daffodil International University Model United Nations Association, a model UN club of DIU, is organising the conference.

This was announced at a press conference on Dhanmondi campus of the university on Tuesday.

The theme of the conference, the first of its kind at DIU, is: 'Engaging Youth for Initiating World Peace Through Peace Dialogue'.

Titled 'Daffodil International Model UN Conference 2019 (DaffodilIMUN'19), the conference aims at engaging and allowing the students to develop deeper understanding in global issues like peace and refugee crisis.

The conference is scheduled to end on January 19.
