Missing man found dead in septic tank

FENI, Jan 11 (UNB): A man, who remained missing since January 04, was found dead in a septic tank at West Madhugram in Chhagalnaiya upazila on Thursday.

The dead is Abul Kalam (55), a retired army man.

MM Murshed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chhagalnaiya thana, said Abul Kalam went missing on January 04 after his first wife along with their five children went to his in-law's house.

On Thursday, Rekha along with her children returned home and found the doors of the house opened. Sensing something wrong, she called Kalam over mobile phone but found it switched off.

Later, Parveen Akter, sister-in-law of Kalam, found the lids of the septic tank open where she unearthed the body of Kalam.
