Narsingdi road crash kills seven

NARSINGDI, Aug 14 (UNB): At least seven passengers of a microbus were killed following a head-on collision with a bus in Sonamurir Tek area of Shibpur Upazila on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Prantika Rani Barman, 6, Snigdha Rani Barman, 5, Bristy Rani Barman, 7, Sourav Barman, 12, Sajal Barman, 20, Shuvo Barman, 30, and cameraman Sajal, 25. All of them were residents of Satnol village in Matlab Upazila of Chandpur district.

The accident took place at around 7:30 am when the Chandpur-bound microbus from Sylhet via Dhaka collided with a Sylhet-bound bus of 'Mitali Paribahan', leaving three passengers dead on the spot and injuring eight others.
