Police recover body of a young man in Gazipur

GAZIPUR, June 19 (UNB): A young man was found dead at Gacha in the city on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Wahab (26), son of Asad Ali of the area.

Motaleb Mia, sub-inspector Joydebpur Police Station, said local people spotted the body of Wahab near a pond in the area and informed the police of the matter.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, said the SI.

The body bore several stab injury marks.

Police said miscreants might have killed Wahab over previous enmity and dumped the body there.
