Rajshahi road crash leaves couple dead

RAJSHAHI, Oct 09 (UNB): A couple was killed after a truck hit a motorbike on Dhaka-Rajshahi highway at Sink Building in Puthia upazila on Wednesday.

The dead are Azim Uddin (42), a member of Border Guard Bangladesh, and his wife Ruma Begum (35) of Puthia.

Rezaul Islam, OC of Puthia thana, said the accident took place around 11:00 am. The couple, injured in the accident, was taken to a local hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.
