April 24, 2019 00:00:00

The chamber judge of the Appellate Division has halted the hearing of a High Court rule and other proceedings related to Jahalom, who served three years jail after being wrongly accused in a loan fraud case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission, reports bdnews24.com.

Justice Md Nuruzzaman issued the order on Tuesday following an appeal by the ACC challenging the order of the High Court bench of Justice Nazmul Ahsan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader on the context of ACC case hearing.

The chamber judge has adjourned all proceedings of the Jahalom case, including the High Court rule until May 13, ACC legal counsel Khurshid Alam Khan told the news agency.

The full bench of the Appellate Division will hear the case on that day.
