Shoeb Chy made BIFS adviser

Bangladesh- India Friendship Society (BIFS) has selected Shoeb Chowdhury as its Adviser.

The President of BIFS, Professor Emeritus and former vice-chancellor of Dhaka University, Dr AK Azad Chowdhury and BIFS Secretary Subir Kushari handed over the advisory credential to Shoeb Chowdhury at a programme on Tuesday.

BIFS President and Secretary applauded Shoeb Chowdhury for his dedicated service to the values of the Liberation War and for upholding the amity between India and Bangladesh.

Other Advisers to BIFS are National Professor Dr Anisuzzaman, Barrister Amir-ul-Islam, Alhaj Mozzafar Hossain Paltu, Major General (retd) KM Safiullah, Justice (retd) Momtaj Uddin Ahmed, Prof Dr Syed Anwar Hossain, Ambassador Waliur Rahman, Syed Margub Murshed and Manjur Hasan Mintu.

Shoeb Chowdhury is Vice President of India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI).
