Two 'drug dealers' die in Chuadanga, Tangail

Police say they have recovered the body of a suspected drug dealer with bullet wounds from Chuadanga's Alamdanga Upazila, reports bdnews24.com.

The body was found around 10am on Saturday in the Satakpat area, said Alamdanga Police SI Nazim Uddin.

The deceased has been identified as Oltu Hossain, 26, who police say was accused in several cases.

Police went to the scene after the body was found by locals, said SI Nazim.

"He had bullet wounds on the right side of his chest and his head. We believe he was killed by unknown criminals. He has been accused in 10-12 cases on various charges, some of which are drug-related."

Another report adds: Police say they have recovered the body of a suspected drug dealer who was shot to death in a gunfight between two groups of drug traffickers in Tangail's Sadar Upazila.

The gunfight took place in the upazila's Charabari area on Friday night, said Saidur Rahman, chief of the Tangail Police Station.

The deceased has been identified as Mannan, a resident of the Kandapara area in Tangail town. Police say he was a top Yaba trader in the district.
