Two get jail for harassing schoolgirl

DINAJPUR, May 18 (UNB): A mobile court here on Saturday sentenced two truck helpers to one month's imprisonment for sexually harassing a schoolgirl in Khansama Upazila of the district.

The convicts are Roni, 19, and Sajal, 19, truck helpers and residents of Savar in Dhaka. Executive Magistrate and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Khansama Ahmed Mahbub-ul-Islam passed the order.

Police said the duo stalked a female student while she was going for her tuition in the afternoon and the victims informed the UNO of the matter over cell phone.

Later, the UNO rushed in and detained the stalkers.
