14-party begins campaign from June 21

The central 14-party alliance will begin its campaign for Awami League (AL) candidate Jahangir Hossain in the Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) polls, reports BSS.

The alliance formed several teams. The teams will carry out campaign in different areas of GCC from June 21 to 24.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the alliance at the Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim's room at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Tursday.

The 14-party leader and Awami League advisory council member Tofail Ahmed chaired the meeting while alliance spokesman Mohammed Nasim, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal President and Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, Bangladesh Tariqat Federation (BTF) Chairman Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari and Workers Party leader Anisur Rahman, among others, attended the meeting.
