‘BNP becomes a party of making allegations’

KUSHTIA, Dec 10 (BSS): Awami League (AL) joint general secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif said on Monday BNP has become a party of allegations as its leaders are making allegations against Awami League without any relevant grounds.

"We always abide by the rules and regulations of the Election Commission.

But BNP only can raise allegations. So, it has now become a party of allegations," he told reporters after attending a dialogue with party leaders and workers at his residence in Kushtia district town.

Hanif said Awami League is campaigning abiding by the electoral code of conducts.

Law enforcement agencies can take steps against terrorists, AL joint secretary said.

"If BNP leaders and workers are found involved in any crime, they will be brought to the book by the law enforces," he added.

But if BNP thinks that they will rehabilitate the terrorists centring the upcoming election, the party will never get the chance.

District Awami League General Secretary Ajgor Ali, district Jubo League president Robiul Islam and joint secretary Md Ali Nishan, among others, attended the dialogue.
