Health condition of Ershad is fine, says GM Quader

Jatiya Party acting chairman GM Quader on Monday said health condition of HM Ershad is fine, expressing the hope that he (Ershad) will get well soon, reports BSS.

While talking to journalists at the party chairman's Banani office, he said Jatiya Party chairman Ershad is undergoing treatment at a Singapore hospital and he will return home after his medical checkup.

Party secretary general Mashiur Rahman Ranga, presidium members Azam Khan, Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan and other senior leaders were present on the occasion.

Ershad left Dhaka for Singapore on Sunday for regular medical checkup.

Ershad, also leader of the opposition in parliament, along with his younger brother Hossain Morshed, his wife Roksana Khan Moreshed, and JP presidium member Major (retd) Khaled Akhter left the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a flight of Singapore Airlines.
