‘Independent Bangladesh dream comes true for Bangabandhu’

Environment, Forests and Climate Change Minister Anisul Islam Mahmud said on Wednesday the dream of independence would not have fulfilled if Bangabandhu was not born, reports BSS..

"Bangabandhu prepared the nation for an armed war through his long struggle

and the dream of the independent Bangladesh comes true under his

unprecedented leadership," he said.

The minister made the comments while speaking at a meeting and doa-mahfil organised by the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Changes in the city's Agargaon, marking the National Mourning Day and 43rd martyrdom anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Anisul Islam Mahmud said Bangabandhu gave us independent Bangladesh while her daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to turn the nation into a middle income country by 2021 and a developed nation by 2041.
