Journos are mirror of society, says Khasru

NETROKONA, Sept 22 (BSS): Terming journalists as the mirror of society, State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Md Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru today said they (journalists) have wider opportunities to highlight actual picture of society through projecting objective reports or news in the media.

"The journalists can play an important role through presenting the fact for upholding the truth and keeping the people free from all sorts of confusion and propaganda" he said.

Khasru stated this while exchanging views with local journalists at Netrakona Press club in the district.

The present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already ensured freedom of press , he said.
