No division in Jatiya Party, says GM Quader

Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader , MP, said on Saturday Jatiya Party is holding all political programmes jointly and there is no rift in the party, reports BSS.

"Joint-leadership has made the Jatiya Party more consolidated and well-strengthened . . . And there is no rift in the party," he told journalists after a joint-meeting of his party at Banani office on the occasion of distributing relief materials among the flood victims.

The chief of the party, the major political party in the ruling Awami league-led grand alliance, said, "We will uphold the memories of Ershad and will distribute relief materials among the suffering people."

He said HM Ershad extended his hands of cooperation for the flood victims and also distributed relief materials even at adverse situation.

"Being imbued with the ideals of Ershad, we will stand by the people who are in dire strait due to recent deluge," he added.

GM Quader said Jatiya Party has in meantime opened a control room for the flood victims. Besides four to five teams will distribute relief materials among the flood victims.

Secretary General of the party, Moshiur Rahman Ranga asked the party leaders and workers to provide all possible support and assistance to flood victims.

Party presidium members: Md Abuk Kashem, Saidur Rahman Tepa, Syed Abdul Mannan, Sheikh SirajuL islam, Advocate Salma Islam, Masud Parvez (Sohel Rana) Barrister Shamim Haider Patwari , among others, were present at the meeting.
