Akij School & College emerge men's junior champions

Akij School & College emerged men's junior champions in the two-day Walton National School/College Taekwondo Competition that concluded on Monday at the National Sports Council gymnasium in the city, reports UNB.

Sirajganj Zila School finished first runners-up while Rajshahi Zila School became 2nd runners-up in the event.

In the women's junior group, Adamjee College clinched the title while Bani Street School & College finished first runners-up and Cumilla Zila School became 2nd runners-up.

Head of the Sports and Welfare Department of the meet's sponsor Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar was the chief guest at the day's closing function and later he distributed the prizes.

President of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal and general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana were also present on the occasion.
